For the second year in a row, Non-Stop Hip-Hop Live brought their glorious Columbia Hip-Hop Family Day: Love, Peace & Hip-Hop to Indie Grits on Saturday, April 12th. Bringing together some of the best live performers, DJs, B-Boy Dance Crews, cutting edge hip-hop visual artists, craft and fashion vendors, from the Southeast and around the country, NSHHL aimed to create an event that promotes positive images of the hip-hop culture to residents and visitors of Columbia, SC. Teaming up with charity partners such as the RAM Foundation and the James R. Clarke Memorial Sickle Cell Foundation, whose work is rooted in the causes that support the community that hip-hop culture has defended for so long, the positive impact of this event was quite apparent.
