2014 Kindie Grits

In 2014, Kindie Grits was presented by the SC Governor’s School for the Arts!  We were  proud to partner with the Richland County LibraryIndie Bits, the TAPPS Art Center, and our own filmmakers to offer the events.

As always, Kindie Grits welcomed kids of all ages and was a  FREE event! Check out a video of last year’s Kindie Grits and details on the two workshops of Kindie Grits 2014:

In this workshop hosted by the extraordinary game maker and boom-box aficionado JJ Shephard, kids will be going over the very basics of creating an independent video game. Mr. Shephard will be  showing you, the audience, how to create one!  Kids will be going over each critical role, one-by-one, and merging together art and science into a game.  Also there may or may not be pizza.
