Come on out to Conundrum Music Hall on Wednesday June 11th to be a part of the 2014  film tour of experimental animators Lauren Cook, Kelly Gallagher, and Charlotte Taylor. Doors open at 7:30 pm and films start rolling at 8:00 pm. There is a suggested $5 donation.

Charlotte Taylor has four films on the tour:

The Edge of Summer (16mm, 4min)
Secrets (16mm, 3min)Leaf. (16mm, 3min)
Aurora and the Sea (video, 1min)

Lauren Cook has three films on the tour:

PXXXL (35mm/video, 3min)
Altitude Zero (16mm, 5min)
Handmade (35mm, 3min)

Kelly Gallagher has two films on the tour:

The Herstory of the Female Filmmaker (video, 14min)
Pen Up the Pigs (video, 12min)

Both Kelly Gallagher and Charlotte Taylor are Indie Grits Alumni, and on that note, it would be wonderful for Indie Grits fans to go out and show their support. There are at least two 3D films. If that isn’t enough, there will be great live music by members of Girls Rock Columbia. This night will not disappoint, so skip those Wednesday night re-runs and make plans to go to Conundrum and see Women with Knives on June 11th.  We hope to see everyone there!
